Our primary purpose is to provide fiscal sponsorship and related charitable administrative services to charitable projects, programs, organizations, and community initiatives that are not themselves recognized as tax-exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3).
Our Fiscal Sponsorship Program allows qualifying charitable projects, community initiatives, arts programs, educational efforts, civic projects, festivals, and other nonprofit activities to operate under the umbrella of an established 501(c)(3) organization without having to create and maintain a separate nonprofit corporation.

Tell us about your project, its purpose, leadership, and anticipated activities.
We determine whether the project fits our charitable mission and can be appropriately sponsored.
If approved, we establish a written Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement outlining responsibilities and expectations.
Charitable funds are disbursed to Good Works Stewardship for the benefit of the sponsored project. We manage the funds while your project carries out its approved charitable activities.
You receive financial information about your project and work with us to maintain appropriate financial and charitable accountability.
We are interested in supporting projects that make a positive difference in our communities, including: Arts & Culture • Community Development • Education • Youth Programs • Civic Initiatives • Festivals & Events • Historic Preservation • Neighborhood Projects • Environmental Initiatives • Community Services
Fiscal sponsorship does not simply mean passing money through to another organization. GOOD WORKS STEWARDSHIP retains legal ownership, discretion, and control of charitable funds and is responsible for ensuring that sponsored activities further legitimate charitable purposes.
We charge a straightforward 3% administrative fee on funds received through the fiscal sponsorship program.
This helps cover the costs of:
Accounting and bookkeeping
Donation processing
Financial reporting
Grant administration
Compliance and recordkeeping
Banking and administrative services
The remaining 97% is available for the approved charitable activities of your project, subject to applicable donor restrictions and the terms of your sponsorship agreement.
